I've been watching since Season 1. This is absolutely NOT the most stacked. Prime time was right when Muffin Men got signed into Cloud 9 and Gale Force eSports had Kaydop, ViolentPanda and TurboPolsa. That's where Turbo won 2 more world championship titles. That and also the pros of 2015 and 2016 were carried over into EU and NA had their own. Pro play was at it's peak then in Rocket League hands down.

@@Yo-pr4mf OCE did for about 2 season when OCE had drippay and some others and made it to worlds but couldnt make it past semifinals. It was never the same. Brazil was never far in contention until just recently. SAM playstyle tilts the living shit out of me. Used to have their pro players port over to USE servers so played with them a bunch. Usually they are pretty solid but they are unbelievably aggressive (and monkey brain).

Man this worlds was the most competitive I have ever seen, we literally had 3 or 4 game 7's in the last day, the arena was on fire. I also think Furia x G2 or Falcons x KC would have been a better grand final tbh.

The games were good, but going to this live is so whack. If you're on the fence about going, don't. Last years was more thought out. Next time will probably be even worse. At first it was no "exclusive" reward for attending. Now we don't even get a wrist band for attending. They had almost 0 merch to even buy either. Just overpriced food/drinks and they had like 1 or 2 rocket league shops. I think even the Esport teams are giving up on Epic at this point. It was just sad.

Rocket league esports is so trash now compared to how it used to be during Psyonix era, the energy during esports is just so stale and a lil cringe now they have these inclusive ass dorky female commentators who lowkey don’t even know how to commentate they just narrate like as if we don’t see wtf is going on during games like I just miss the old days where there were more hype commentators that had good spokesmen voices for commentating and had skills commentating as well helping watchers understand what’s going on in the midst of the chaos that was the crazy dignitas era and before that as well, I watch these nowadays and it just doesn’t hit the same…

Okay but lemon kiwi has gotten much better compared to when she first started. Her casting plus jonnyboy’s / stumpy’s is actually a decent fit. Herc’s though, it’s a bit rough for her. But Kiwi is pretty decent for most of the Swiss and early elim bracket stages, I understand the finals not being “as great” but you are just word vomiting lmao
