I want say I am a huge fan of both you guys basketball analyst even when you guys constantly talk about the kings when the regular season starts and other stuff going around the league in the nba. I think as for the finals got the Mavs winning this series in 6 games against the Celtics and Luka doncic winning the finals MVP although Kyrie Irving definitely got a shot to win that finals MVP as well.🏀💯

This has been my favorite of all of your shows. Jason was a great guest, and you guys are so relatable. I feel you on being so excited during a game that you're almost nauseous. Also, me being crazy with superstitions and jinxes. I won't wash the Mavs jersey I wear every day (I live by myself, so ..) until after the Finals. Watching the game--where do I sit? Dalas should break Celticks shooting rutine, which is their constant thing and works with other teams. After that they will be pretty insecure needing time to recoup. It'll be too late because it wasn't in their menue. Somehow in a strange way I just know that guys will play like in their dreams....and take it all.

Ironically , the main reason Mavs fan base is "nicer" or less extreme is because DFW is still very much a Cowboys/football land, whereas more "extreme" NBA fans are usually from basketball cities like NY/NJ, Boston, LA.

And I think KP won’t shoot particularly well from three and become that “weak link”. And in game 7, TD Garden will be singing Halleluka as he drops his 69th point. Obviously I'm going with Mavs. lol. I think this series has a lot of interesting dynamics. I agree with Jason that the biggest fear is just how the overall defense plays out and ultimately what adjustments can be made to winning. I have a lot of confidence in the Mavs offensive potential against the Celtics, there is no true answer for Luka and Kyrie regardless of the defensive talent that some of the Celtics possess. I'm excited for this series and its potential to be one of the better NBA Finals in recent memory. For me personally though the best part is I WILL BE AT GAME 3 OF THE FINALS IN DALLAS!! BUCKET LIST! I'm hyped, Go Mavs. Mavs in 6.

Thinking about every Dallas loss this postseason. clippers: clips shot 60% from three and made WILD contested shots the whole game. Didn’t do that again for the rest of the series. Anomaly. The other loss, Clips started crazy hot from 3 like game 1 making an absurd amount of 3s but blew a 33 point lead and Dallas almost completed the largest comeback in playoffs history if PG didn’t hit a contested fadeaway 3 from behind the backboard. Thunder: first loss, Thunder legit beat the breaks off Dallas in the second half and made more threes in that half than they did for the rest of the series in a single half. Anomaly. Second loss: Dallas lost a nail biter but had their worst free throw shooting game of the season. Luka missed a game tying free throw with seconds on the clock. Anomaly. Wolves: Dallas lost another nail biter, but were without arguably their third best player who played a huge role in equalizing the effect of Minnesotas size advantage. He also didn’t miss a single shot the whole series. Got him back the next game and blew them out. Why write all of this? It’s taken anomalies to beat Dallas this playoff run. No team has just played a regular game or overcame an off night to beat them. They’ve had to fire on all cylinders to get a single W. On the flip side, Luka had his worst two playoff series EVER the first two rounds. Dallas won games where the opponent made 12 more 3’s than them and they shot 23%. They won games where they were out rebounded, shot less free throws and a lower percentage. They didn’t need huge games to win, they just won. The best part… they weren’t even favored. Luka is going to be healthy for the first time this post season. I’ve got Dallas beating Boston in 5, solidifying Luka as the best player of the past decade and shocking the world. The team is special.

House money? Kyrie is 32, this time frame is the time to win a championship. If they lose, they might not get back there ever again with this roster. Every year going forward Kyrie is gonna diminish and Mavs have no future assets. If the Mavs lose, it will be a huge disappointment.

Young team that will be at the top of the conference for the next decade with a treasure trove of assets to build their team for another run. The Mavs are above the second apron with no draft picks and an ageing super star. As a Mavericks fan I feel a great amount of anticipation and anxiety about this series because this team is definitely a win now team with minimal flexibility going forward.
