Considering that Natlan's thing is resurrection, I wouldn't be surprised if they kill her off and bring her back. Mainly because her banner hasn't dropped yet. So if HoYo is smart they'll drop her banner the moment she comes back to boost sales.

In Mavuika's line about "a land without the rules or protection from the lord of the night-", the "rules" are the ones specific to natlan. Sounds like she's talking about changing those rules. People of Natlan are going to have to give up some form of their tie to the night kingdom/the ability to resurrect. This was teased by constellation metropole giving up the protection magic that kept them safe on their track in order to move forward.

I think "the rules" is referring to the rules set up by Xbalanque (aka Ode of Resurrection etc etc). And they are in risk of losing that. The lord of the night might by an entity thats connected to the Wayobs

@@Omgcait Nah, it is very unlikely that Hoyo made Mavuika's design and model just to have her as a quest exclusive npc, and then present a different version of her, with a different body type. That is why Rukkhadevata was mostly seen in 2D animated scenes and the one time she had to appear in a 3D-rendered cutscene, they used Nahida's model, because this is what players are already familiar with, and they don't have to make another 3D model.

The trailer named "The Rainbow Destined to Burn", I think the rainbow is all 6 chosen heroes that Mavuika needed to continue the plan. "Destined to burn" can be all those 6 heroes need to be sacrifice for the plan, but Mavuika instead will sacrifice herself alone after taking all 6 ancient name stone. Thats when she die. 1million percent guess lmao.

I didn't believe in mavuika death happening but completely forgot about 5.2 not having archon quest, as you mentioned in the video. Now it makes perfect sense to kill her in 5.1 and have everyone itching for 5.3 because of the cliffhanger. With Capitano I'm guessing he will have some sort of minor or even major impact in her death and revival, it's obvious there's going to be a "team up" against because of the Abyss being a common enemy for both factions

My prediction is the Sustainer returns and we experience Himeko's death redux. It's been 4 years. A divine throne has been destroyed. It's time for Hoyo to remind us she's still around. I also predict that the ancient name she's supposedly trying to reforge is either Xbalanque or Waxaklahun Ubah Kan, the Sage of the Stolen Flame. Either one would fit narratively. The fact that she's using the Gnosis to finish the Ancient Name right there in the arena makes me think it's very likely to be the former. And the *Traveler* will be the bearer of this ancient name. This might be the real reason she waited 500 years, cutting it so very close. The Traveler is more necessary to the plan than she lets on. I suspect that not only will she die, we'll head into the Sacred Flame ourselves, using the ancient name's power, to try and resurrect her... and meet Ronova directly. (Judging by the trailer, maybe we even save her from being consumed by the Abyss?) Capitano's identity, at this point, is VERY sus. A lot of people think he's Perinheri, but I strongly disagree. I think he might be Yupanqui, the one who took the Turnfire and then burned a hole through the ley lines down into the Night Kingdom. The whole concept behind the Malipo name comes down to its meaning: Payment. Capitano in the trailer says "humanity's survival is worth any price." Sounds like the kind of thing Kinich would agree with. Alternatively, he could be the yet-unnamed scarlet-eyed hero from that same time, but it wouldn't be as impactful.

With the Natlan region trailer foreshadowing, i do believe Mavuika will "die" in 5.1, and i do believe that her "death" is a part of her master plan. She will revive though, she had a ton of pheonix imagery associated with her, and Natlan already has a ton of set-up around people coming back to life, so i can imagine the traveler and the 6 heroes of the plan coming toguether and doind something like the ode of ressurection in order to revive Mavuika via the power of a Wayob/Sacred name. Maybe her death is what is needed for the people taht are not on-board with her plan to come around on it, Citlali, ororon and Capitano seem to be the missing ones, and mavuikas sacrifice will put them on the path to join the traveler and others in order to save natlan. It would also be very cool if capitano ends up being Xbalanque, and mavuikas sacrifice makes him re-gain faith in the plan(or remember the plan if something "maybe using a cryo delusion too much has corrupted part of his memories.)

Is a seelie The shade of Death = Ronova and hes the entity that gave Xbalanque the power to create the special rules of Natlan aka (Ode of Resurrection). THATS what mavuika is talking about. A land without the Lord of Night (creator of basically what is Natlan leylines) + The rules (ode of Resurrection, the ability to come back to life) is doomed.

One of the things i noticed is that Capitano's voice sounds Zach Aguilar's voice which is also the english VA for Male Traveller. Yes its two different voice but Zach is a very good VA and he also voiced Mountain Shaper, and aside from these genshin character Zach also Voiced all three versions of Stern in FFBE WotV which have the same tone of voice with Capitano. So if this is true then there's a high Possibility that Capitano could be a Playable character.

Everyone is avoiding mentioning the obvious possibility that the captain is mavuika’s sister and that either she sacrifices herself instead and mavuika never dies, or she is the one who resurrects Mavuika afterwards. I think it’s a mistake to expect the first pyro archon to make any appearance in the main archon quest.

Hey MNFW, do you have any ideas regarding Capitano’s identity? I have a crack theory of my own that he’s the sage of stolen flames that opposed Mavuika and got kicked out of Natlan many years ago, thus gaining the identity of the Captain. It helps that most of the harbingers have heavy ties to each non-Snezhnayan nation (Arle and potentially Snadrome to Fontaine, Scara to Inazuma), the only harbinger without an assigned nation left is Capitano, and Natlan had very little lore previously. Gives him motivation to why he knows so much about the Gnosis, Mavuika and Sacred Flame. Also explains why he has a Cryo Delusion to cool down his out of control Primal Fire (similar to Signora).

Sage of Stolen Flame is from even further back, not 500 years ago. He was friends with the original Pyro Archon Xbalanque. However, I do think it's possible that Capitano is either this Sage or Xbalanque himself.

What about him being Mauvikas dad? She never explains what happened to him and he looked a lot like Capitanos model it made me suspicious. Also the persons that he wanted to save could be the Khaenri'ahn soldiers that are frozen in time in Natlan this should be connected to Xbalanques attempt to defy the Heavenly Principles I really hope for more lore around that. Whenever they put people in photographs I think they are much more important to the story than we currently are aware of.
