The thing about awakened Maw in this kind of meta is that the degen from the sig doesn't stack and it keeps getting retriggered so often that the first tick doesn't even get a chance to apply before it's refreshed. A bit like how someone who constantly fails things against awakened Domino works. Wish they upped the stack limit to at least two.

No, You probably dexed or intercepted Maestro, those disables Guaranteed Crit Node.

If you disable the “Guaranteed Critical Hit” buff on the Defender then they can hit you. So be careful not to intercept. You can even intercept with a heavy attack too
