Black to edge of chalk are usually strikes in highschool regardless especially with elite catchers that present well, you do realize the size of the zone changes the older you get right a pro and college zone is tighter than highschool and so on

Man I would have LOVED to have that umpire on the mound back in the day!!! I would have that zone stretched to a foot by the end of the game. Throw it 2 inches off, then 3, then 4. When he calls it a ball go back an inch, then keep stretching, 5 inches, 6 inches. If I threw one over the plate it would be a mistake pitch.

I was taught that running into fair territory after touching first gave the first basemen the ability to tag you out. So when Max was on the fair side of the line, the first baseman could not tag him out because there was no attempt to go to second correct? The time was 5:29 btw

His second at bat was a grounder to second basemen who didn’t make a play. 3rd at bat same swing as the second at bat(protective puss swing) chopper to the 3rd baseman who didn’t make a play again. And when I say play I’m not talking a spectacular dive I’m just talking about routine stuff that every college/mlb player make. He’s just not impressing me at all

Out with any college level outfielder. 2nd ab he literally grounded out to second and the kid made an error. No stolen base because batter hit catchers mit and was given first anyways. And lastly, 3rd ab routine ground ball to 3rd which was bobbled and would also be an out in any college level setting. Max clark was 1-3 zero sb.
