It is highly interesting to watch this at lower quality/resolution/bitrate, seeing how it affects the equally mathematical psychovisual encoding characteristics of the algorithms. I have to reencode the highest quality I can get here with different codecs/formats out of curiosity. (AV1 will probably win, but I'm curious about how artifacting will manifest with different techniques. The pulsating, rhythmic warping between some sort of keyframes at >720p VP9 here on KZbin was very surprising and interesting to watch.)
