PSA, if you have a team that has low mobility, try using blazing spell instead of starshard spell on this boss. Any unit sitting in one place will stop gaining energy from one of the bosses abilities so you won’t be getting enough ultimates off to make the most of starshard, but blazing spell works on a timer.

yup analytica great for end game. for ppl without maxed units thoran is still great. he offers dmg amplification, some ok dmg and takes aggro that would kill others at low investment

​@@dariel299That's the team I used and got 30m damage. Then I used his team, got 29m twice and then 32m on the 3rd run. So his team does work too, it's just you gotta get lucky with where the boss hits

Ditch Thoran for either Kruger or Koko (depending on which one you're missing) if your Smokey is strong enough to survive on the front most tile. I use Marilee(L+)/Kruger(E+)/Smokey(M)/Koko(S)/Cecia(S+). Placed from L to R, koko placed 2 tiles back where as the rest is in the front (so Koko ults after my Cecia). For reference. My Supreme Odie does less damage than my Marilee or Cecia in this setup.

FYI, for anyone interested, I’m pretty sure that this strategy only works if koko is m+ or above. Smokie gets shredded otherwise. I tried with a supreme Smokie and L+ koko (lvl 271) but Smokie only lives with Ironwall active, and Ironwall doesn’t provide enough damage to really warrant using this formation. (For me)

@volkinAFKJourney is it true that during beta we can use the manual ultimate on bosses and pvp?

I’ve heard that the reason that you can’t is because they are competitive modes. Because of this they are run on the server instead of on the client so that more strict anticheat software can be used, but this makes it pretty much impossible to manually control the ultimates. Also imagine if you had to do 10 dream realm runs manually ulting all 5 units with perfect timing to stay competitive. That would drive me insane.

I would recommend dropping Thorin in this mode. I dont have marilee or Korin that ascended and I manage to do 40M with Smokey front, with level 10 weapon, Vala, Marilee, Korin and Florabelle. If I had Korin and Marilee at m+ it would do much more.

@VolkinAFKJourney don't the dream realm rewards reset? If not how would you keep gaining dream fragments? Cuz it seems the only way is to place high in ranking.

They definitely don’t reset daily. Maybe they could potentially reset once the new season hits but I kind of doubt that. They seem like one time rewards. Still, if you place in the top 10% consistently (which I think is pretty achievable as I’ve been doing it since day one as f2p on a pretty competitive server, but I get that not everyone is as competitive as me or maybe got screwed by luck) I think that you get around 400 dream fragments a day after all the buffs. So that should be about a copy every 3-4 days? I apologize if I got anything wrong I stopped paying attention to the exact number a while ago and I’ve been getting into the top 200 for the past couple weeks.

Try running Dual/Triple carry, as currently there is no way to boost a Hypercarry’s damage high enough to make it worth running only one. Keep faction bonus in mind but don’t run suboptimal characters just to force it.

Marilee solo carry in my team deals almost 30M. If you add Odie he barely deals 5M so you don't need multiple DPS.

There's definitely alot of RNG with this boss, but I did get the most points with the team he used (M+ Marilee) The first two runs I got just under the highest damage I already had with a different team, but on the 3rd run I got 2m+ more damage

Fyi people,this just works if u started on newest server and u get Yellow weapon upgrades,if u are like me,i am 230 lvl and all my chars only have 2 starts bcz of whales ect,u wont even be getting 12mil dmg regardless. He has his 2x Main dps at 3 stars u can forget about that if u aint a whale or jumped on new server and somehow managed to get in top 10 of dps in dream bosses.

No, you get enough resources to do that from just finishing the faction towers. I have a two and three star mythic+ and I have enough to get Marrilee to +3 after I get two more copies of her. I’m in S48 and I’ve only done well enough to get into the top 100 the past few days. So I’ve gotten a grand total of three temporal essence from dream realm. You also get 5 Temporal essence every other floor ending with a five from what I’ve seen in trial of the abyss.

the M+ on thoran isnt a big deal for this fight. no as important as in the croaker fight. thoran still gives the dmg boost without M+

I hate this boss so much. Most bosses I can get around top 50 in my server, but I can't even get top 100 on this one. I'm sure there's a way to do it with what I have, but it's not been working out for me so far.

You just dont. Marilee does 5-7x damage of Odie m+, and 4-5x damage of S+ Cecia, while being m+ herself. Korin also does shitload of damage, but not really as necessarry as Marilee. Just get Marilee. Without her you will never even hit top200.
