Fabulous! I believe that Max and all Indigenous Australians should be our leaders for sustainable living. Our nation's First Peoples were the only people to get this right.

Uncle Max we share the same last name..i found you in searching for my long lost roots. Your words match my thoughts and i thank you in deep admiration..My Dads name was Harry. Born 1929.His mother always made stuffed felt toys of all the native creatures. I loved your presentation. It spoke to me on many levels. Best Wishes!

I get the sacredness of a leaf, a stone, a river. Many people have forgotten to sit and listen to nature. But they will remember.

Using a Mirror storytelling angle to reflect upon deep roots this issue has brought up an some interesting inner thought perspectives in "reflection" upon the Real world historical recognition issues of two peoples with very different world views as to the recognition of what is Sacred "that which can not be seen" the example in fantasy film Avatar (youtube reference) "Avatar - Grace Explaining" the experiences people went through in there internal reflection as to the internal questioning ones own "source code" and the roots running under historical ancestral trauma issues was quite an eye opener on many levels ..

I see no difference today. Sadly, we still can’t feel - too much up in the mind where is no feeling.

It’s unfortunate to believe the west didn’t ever think in this way. Humans all over the world lives the same way with nature. We don’t do that anymore. We are the odd ones

Yes your right, everything is recorded, everything, it's unfortunate when people celebrate a tunnel bore machine that rips through our sacred mother, Or a rocket ship that pollutes and destroys the very air we breathe, Or mines and fracking that pollutes our water, Or the farmer and there One crop that feeds us All, but it's not there Fault I suppose, They see it As advancement, when really it's going backwards, I think advancement is a good thing, but never when it's at the expense of something else, for example, the desecration Of mother, people's health, people dying, animals dying, pollution, polluted water and air, taking the medicine and turning it into drugs etc, that's not advancement, that's greed, but On the other hand, I think we are very lucky to know this and to have the gift to stay with mother and All who resides here with us, in a way it is a bit like a gift isn't it, because not everyone has been lucky enough to be able to remain with mother and All who resides here, and to keep the knowledge that way surpasses anything They could ever create, I think One Day people will understand They Can have what they call technology beyond their wildest dreams and no-one Or nothing has to suffer to have it , I think that day will come 😔😊
