You can clearly see how much Max has grown, now that he's a 3 time WDC he's way more chill, he had the most dominant season in history, he's proved himself and now he can just relax and have fun. Even when he has to race his absolute hardest to win. I do believe that a younger, less experienced Max would've been furious with Lando's defence at the start but now it's all water under the bridge

All of great drivers so far were the same on their early seasons. See Ayrton, Shumi, Alonso, Vettel, Hamilton - totally "pricks" (if you revisit their incidents without bias) till they establish themselves. Even Lauda or Raikkonen, who are considered "fair" drivers, have been on that side on their early days.

I don't think it's actually like that. Norris stated he gave enough room. Verstappen and Hamilton started laughing about that statement. When Verstappen said "it's ok", he accepted and expected some harder racing with the elbows out.
