FYI to anyone who bought these lights and can't figure out how to adjust horizontally. Some models (like mine) come with rubber caps that are fitted very tightly onto the top of the adjuster. it makes it seem like there's no adjust but if you take a really thin alan key or knife, you can pry it off and the adjuster will be underneath.

Thanks for the headsup. I was able to pry the plastic thing off but it doesn't seem to make a difference when I tried to adjust it horizontally. Did you have any issues with that?

On most modern cars the passenger side beam is and should be higher as there are no drivers to blind and will help with seeing road signs and other obstacles on the side of the road. The driver side be such to not blind oncoming traffic.

Yes!!! Totally correct! I notice the same years ago and I went to the dealer with my c63 and they just kinda laugh at me.. they were like.. you can adjusted but if the headlights are like that is for a reason.. they explain it to me and I immediately feel like a dumb

No. Adjusting the beam is about getting the most amount of light on the ground for the driver. You can still adjust them way too low and not blind oncoming cars...and you can still adjust them way too high and still not blind oncoming cars. You have to adjust them properly for best lightbeam performance...and if done right...it will indirectly automatically prevent it from blinding people.

Does the left and right adjustment work? I tried on my USR headlights and doesn't seem to do anything, but I was able to adjust the height no problem. Best to use a philips screw driver.

My c43 has adaptive headlights, can these be adjusted? They are pointing too low.

Don’t know. Those headlights usually self level and it’s automatic.

my 2016 C450 AMG with adaptive headlights pointing too low too. when i got a 2020 Mercedes loaner, that car shine much farther and i can see better and drive faster. i going to adjust mine.

I have a question and it’s on a E350 model benz. I recently installed the W212 version but the pattern is off. I noticed I only have 1 adjuster on each headlight. When I move my right beam down my left one also goes down. I’ve tried to balance them both in the middle but it’s off completely. Is there another adjuster that I’m not aware of on the headlight?

Hi Alexander, I did the same on my w205, upgraded from the static LEDs to the Dynamic LEDs. They were programmed once installed, but they don’t move with the steering wheel unfortunately. These LEDs are very intelligent, and I bought original used lights but they’re static!. The only they they do is welcoming when I turn on the car. Any suggestions?!

Alright so got them installed a while back ago so have to be adjusted but I could do it with a philp screwdriver like said in video. Also does it have it have to 25feet or long as you can see the light angle on the wall and back off a certain amount to adjust them ?

I went to repair store and they Said there is not any problem, when i get to Wall too close i can see the flickering but on right side there isnot any flickering same as you, is this a problem? i called mad places for the same thing in florida and realistically it takes like 12 hours to install. most shops quote $125 an hour so it's like $1500 just for installation and that's not including the price of the lights. not really worth it imo. i had a guy who said he'd do it for $500 and when i went he took a look at the lights and fiddled with my car a bit and said there was no way he could do it for the price he quoted me. he apologized an gave me an updated quote of $1700 :( if you're kinda tech savvy, id just do it yourself. it doesn't seem very difficult just extremely tedious.

Open up your hood, look if there’s adjusters on the headlights (similar to in my video). I won’t be able to tell you. I don’t know your headlights.

Yes you can, they’re labeled on the headlights on the trim as U->D (up and down) and L->R (left and right) but be VERY CAREFUL the plastic is very easy to strip off and something that I did by accident and I don’t see there being a simple solution so when adjusting take your time and line up your screwdriver and twist carefully.

When they are adjusted properly and pass inspection, they can’t blind oncoming traffic cause the highest they will shine on an oncoming car is right below their side mirrors. That’s why there’s a proper way and improper way of adjusting headlights.

no they're not intelligent as they don't dim automatically when cars are approaching nor do they turn when banking turns. however, if you have the stock halogens, they are much brighter and look way cleaner. they're not as bright and the low beams have a very hard contrast between long and short beam but it's the best upgrade you can get in this situation.

Nope. The left side in my video is more than fine but the right side can be slightly higher. The easy rule of thumb is from a distance, the beam should not be higher than a regular cars side mirror. And my method is well below that and it's good for everyone. As a youtuber with a following from all over the world...this video is just to show how headlights do have an option for adjustments and the safest way to do it regardless your local laws and regulations. Not all places allow one beam higher than the other. It’s up to the owner if they wanna go higher on the right and risk possibly blinding people but I'm not going to put that in my video.
