@@benbelardo I tried the Teddy coat and it’s absolutely stunning but ended up getting their short Teddy jacket last year. Love that jacket and felt like between the 2 - short vs long, I would get more wear of the short and I think I made the right decision. But I still love the long Teddy coat

Hi there, I just bought the ludmilla in a IT42. It is a bit oversized so I am wondering if anyone who has it decided to size down or keep their original size. Any thoughts? did you get your true size or size down?

Hello 👋🏽, the ludmilla in general has a lot of fabric and so if it’s too big on you, I would say to size down or get you regular size. If you scored it in some sale then get it tailored. I have done that before and it works. Hope this helps.

Hi, could you please advise me on sizing? I see you tried on the Manuela and the Madame in the same size. Could you please tell me how much do they differ in the upper body and overall fit? I'm 162 cm, 55 kg, and my MM coats are sizes 40 for Manuela and 42 for Rialto (I wanted it a bit oversized) I'm deciding between 40 and 42 for the Madame. I'm not as slim as you, and I want to be able to wear it with chunky sweaters. So, basically, if the Manuela fits me in 40, but I can't wear it with chunky sweaters, do you think the Madame in the same size would be big enough to fit a chunky sweater underneath? Thank you ❤

Hi, ideally it should be fine since the Madame is cut different, its boxy and oversized, but if you go for 42 it should be ok too. But with that the length will also increase. I mean I bought Madame in 36 and it allows me to throw a chunky knit underneath, no problem but Manuela was quite fitted in the same size.

@@debpanache Thank you so much. Yes, it's the lenght I'm worried about. So I guess the Madame should be much more loose in the upper arms and back/armpits, then Manuela in the same size. Am I right? You say you can fit the chunkier knits underneath. And you can't wear them with Manuela, if I understand correctly. Sorry to bother 🙏🏻

I'd rather take a 42, but the lenght would just be too much for me. Hope the Madame is sufficiently larger than the Manuela in the same size.

@@hannahgross_72 thank you so much for watching my videos and interacting with me. Try the 40, if you feel it’s tight with thick sweater, you can return and get the 42. I wore it with Toteme ‘s stripe sweater and Off-white thick sweater, it was perfectly fine. On the contrary, the Madame coat is quite warm, so pairing it with oversized cashmere sweater is just enough. But ofcourse it will depend on where you live and how cold it gets. Hi 👋🏽… thank you for watching! I am 5’2” and wear 34 DD. ( I did mention my height and weight for reference) I know it can be difficult otherwise. The Madame coat like I mentioned both 36 IT and 38 IT works, but since I am short I think I prefer the 36 IT so that I don’t drown in the oversized coat. The Manuela and Ludmilla i prefer 36 IT. Hi! I really really need your advice. A have a Manuela coat in 40IT, which is a US 6 in Max Mara chart. It fits fine, but I cannot wear it with chunky sweaters, otherwise it feels a bit snug. I have decided to purchase a Rialto, but I need your advice on the sizing. I would like it to be relaxed, and not to tight or fitted. Should I go with the same size, or should I size up? Hi, sorry for responding so late. Talking of sizes and what you want to wear the coat with, its best to try it out yourself. Because like you mentioned Manuela coat, the arms are quite fitted vs Madame has a more relaxed arm shape. So its hard to comment without trying it.

@@debpanache Thank you ❤️ I am IT40 in Manuela, and turns out I'm IT42 in Rialto, maybe because I like Rialto to be a bit more loose than how it's usually presented on the models. Love them both, but for my lifestyle, Rialto is better for everyday wear. I was thinking for my next coat to be the Max Mara Madame in 40 or 42IT, but now you got me all confused. I'd like it to be really oversized, so i can wear it with a blazer or a chunky sweater and still have room. I was planning to buy it within the next couple of years, but then I thought - the prices are going up, the quality of literally everything is deteriorating... If only I could find it in dark grey... It seems dark grey can't be fuond in the EU, and I'm not paying almost double the price/ordering from outside EU.

Hi, just wondered what size you ended up keeping? I am struggling with sizing because I am also on a weight loss plan right now. I am a large right now and got the ludmilla in a medium but it is a bit oversized and my mom tells me to get a small so it will not be so oversized when I loose weight. The medium is a IT42 and the small is an IT40. When I go to stores to ask the SAs for advice many seem to just care about the commission and selling me the sizes they already have in stock as compared to geniune fitting advice. Any suggestions how you ended up to decide what to keep?

@@SummeRain783 You mean the Rialto? I kept a 42IT and it definitely looks better on me than a 40IT. I didn't like the way it looked on the models, if you look at the pictures from differnt web stores, it just looks too snug. I think it's better to size up rather than down if you're between sizes. I'm now considering a Madame coat and, eventhough it's oversized, I think I'll end up getting it in a 42IT. Haven't tried it on yet, but it's meant to be oversized anyway. I'm not sure about Ludmilla though. If it's fitted like Manuela (I think it is, can't remember now) I'd probably have a difficult time deciding myself. I have a Manuela in 40IT, and eventhough the lenght is fine, it's still almost too snug in the shoulder/upper back area. I can only wear it with thinner sweaters or shirts...I just googled Ludmilla. I'd go with a 42IT if I were you. It looks really bad and somehow cheaper when shown in a size that's too small for a model wearing it.
