I lost my son who was 35 he faught spinal musclear atrophy type 2 his whole life. He was not expected to survive this long. They gave him 6 months when he was 18 months old. He was my whole world. I took care of him his whole life so he wouldn't be put into a nursing home. He was my strength my light to shore. Now I don't have him anymore. Not being American not heard of Max BUT i recently watched a short about a dog named Pumpkin who'd been rescued and heard this song. being a devotee and lover of our canine friends this song got me. It was so moving and right for the moment it brought me to tears Max, this song is the most beautiful song i've heard in a long time and the lyrics are so emotive and powerful.
