well, that's a nice tuto, the problem is that for a newbie like me I can't even figure out how to put the list view to visualize the 3 datas module the pack object ? it's best to start from scratch for beginners and not from something already in place.

You are doing a great job my friend...... Thanks much. Can you do a tutorial on how to do nicer pictures on the GUI controls. The standard one's look ugly and basic. I wanna build something much nicer with 3D rendered knobs and buttons and also other GUI elements in a Control panel that is a visually pleasing environment.. I can create any shapes in SolidWorks and give you some nice pictures and videos.

Great video Andrew, thank you! You mentioned you might do a video on the swatch object. That would be awesome! I'm currently trying to somehow make the colour selector of a swatch object be controllable by the clip envelopes in Ableton - so people can automate the colour. Any ideas on how to achieve that? I've been unlucky so far... Thanks in advance!

hey, wonderful video! I have a question: I can't seem to be able to use float numbers. I di write "pack f f f" and the output messages has a dot after every number as well. I just can't make the three number values create float number... do you know why? do I have to create specific "float number" object to be input-ed in the pack?

Make sure you’re also using float number boxes. They also have the decimal dot in them. If you want to adjust the value by a floating point value you just have to lock the patch and click in the float number box and drag up or down. Where you click in the number box is important though, clicking in the tenth section (directly to the right of the dot) you will adjust by tenths so .1 .2 .3 etc but you could also click in the hundredth and adjust the value .01 .02 .03 etc.

@@AndrewRobinson26 thank you so much! The issue is that I didn't understand I had to press F for the float numbers lol. Doing a full dive in your videos, currently. Great videos, keep it up man :D

To interact with objects like the number box you have to lock the patch (icon in the bottom left corner) and then click on the number box and then either click and drag the mouse or type in the number you want and hit enter. If neither of those are working to enter in a number then it’s possible you have something patched into the number box that is constantly outputting a 0.
