You Sir, you deserve a LOL! And I haven't even seen 'Stranger Things', although I am aware its a thing (a stranger thing, apparently?) Max is a good player and a great technical player. I only saw him for the first time today and I sent a video of him to a friend of mine who had been moaning about back pain that he reckoned was caused by years of gigging with a 'heavy' guitar... my point is that Max looks like he couldnt lift a guitar, but he does, and he is a great player!! He is not emotionless, he’s just incredibly focused and tensing muscles in the face looks expressive but at the same time increases tension in your muscular system which is all interconnected. So from a scientific point of view it makes total sense, but of course people like expressive performers.

Guitar players that play outside in that kind of cold deserve a whole different level of respect. If it's 50⁰f outside, I can barely feel my fingers and I sounds like it's my 1st day. This guy is likely playing with fingers a literal half a degree above freezing and acts like he doesn't even notice he's playing till a minute in after some shredtastic arpeggios and some speed tapping. One of the things that really impressed me on top of the amazing playing is that the few times he missed a note or bend, there wasn't a head shake of look on his face that said "Oops, I screwed up". This is MAx from years ago... he has grown so much as a musician in the last few years! His technique is still remarkable, but has become tastier and more well rounded. He does some "straight jazz covers" that blow my mind... totally jazz, but with his own personality coming through.
