Psychedelic Lizard I have. Still waiting for Season 4. That said, both ‘Alan Wake’ and ‘Address Unknown’ greatly owe it to ‘Twin Peaks’, but, at the same time they’re different beasts. Wake is a lot closer to the David Lynch show, however.

As a kid, I didnt play the first game and wasn't understanding most of the stuff and just enjoyed gameplay. But the first pavilion level is still my favourite, because I imagined Max Payne as the protogonist of Address Unknown and pretended that cardboard decorations was real for him

It's not every day you have an entire level dedicated to an in-game fictional TV show. It makes me all the more happy to hear the show's theme song in full. It feels like a love letter to the Black Lodge music. =)

Exactly!!! Adress Unknown itself was such a great pastiche to twin peaks. Alan Wake and Address Unknown both seem connected to each other with their glaring twin peaks references

It was masterful how the first two Max Payne games in particular are able to combine gritty storytelling, satire, humour and this really quite profound psychological horror/dread as well. The fun house is the perfect example. It's goofy and kind of silly in places but also weirdly threatening and disturbing.
