Max Payne 3 - Underrated & Unmatched - Gameplay Encounters - PC

Welcome back to Max Payne 3. Today I have some more classic action gameplay for you. Every time I come back to this game it reminds me how ahead of its time it really was. It's not my favorite Max Payne game and the bits where you arent in control are annoying but this game has aged so gracefully. I just keep returning to 3 so often

I had the pleasure of playing this game a few months ago and I was stunned by how smooth the controls are and how damn good this game still looks. Criminally underrated. Can’t wait for the remakes of 1 and 2.

I love how much of a champion you are for Max Payne 3. Truly one of the most under-appreciated games of all time, and probably my favorite R* game after RDR2.

I play this on xbox one x,30 fps capped but flawless.Not like the ps3 sh1t version i had in 2011.

Extremely good game. My only complaint was i didn't like the setting. Noir York is just burned into my brain, it became a character in it's own right. Taking Max out of NYC just felt wrong, i felt the same way about The Division 2, too bright and colorful for my liking but outside of the setting i enjoyed it. The story, the mechanics, everything was Max Payne awesome! The small segment we got in NYC and at the graveyard stood out so much because of that. I just wanted to spend the whole game in that environment.

I am really excited for MAX PAYNE 1 & 2 REMAKES because remedy is making it so they just have to make it more fluid than ever before & make the levels even more wider like the 3rd part that is this game.

I have confidence that those remakes will be just as solid as the Resident Evil 1 remake on gamecube. Which i still hold up as the best example of how to remake an older game.

I’ve heard supposedly not confirmed yet there’s supposed to be a new sequel to Max Payne. It’s called Judas and rockstar has already started production in pre production in 2017 and in 2020 they began full production and they’ve copyrighted the name as well. I hear it’s on pause right now though cause of GTA 6 and Also Dan Houser wrote the storyline for it before he had left Rockstar games. If this is true I lowkey am kinda excited for it. Max had a beautiful send off and finally found peace but I wonder what Rockstar has to offer if this game is actually being made like how could they match Max Payne?

This game not only has the best combat in the max payne trilogy but also it one of the best 3rd person shooters still today of course the story is not as good as the other max paynes but yeah it is underrated

Unmatched ? That depends. It is without any doubt the best game of the series when it comes to combat but when it comes to the Story and general atmosphere, this is debatable.
