I mean she was actively trying to t to manipulate him. Asking someone to define a word is a manipulation tactic, because it allows someone to pull from the definition and not the context it was used in. She made him look bad on the internet and only apologized after the internet bashed her for it. His main problem was that if they were genuinely friends if something was weird she would have texted him right away, and when she texted him if you listen she made it clear she was apologizing for how the internet took it and not for how she portrayed it. She didn’t take accountability on that account. I don’t know what his age has to do with it, but if she truly wanted to resolve the issue she wouldn’t have harped on “opportunist”, or insulted him, or tried to invalidate anything he said.
