People had long since expected it'd either go the way of Duke Nukem Forever (takes forever, massive disappointment), or Scalebound (cancelled). The reactions of others are entirely justified. Hell, I think FF7 Remake also had a long-as-fuck period of silence, and luckily the end-result wasn't "wholely disappointing".

The trailer it already have everything, they really show the complete game there, you have tons of the final bosses you encounter, many of the late zones and even the ending frenzied flame requisite scene. It still feels not real, like this is how a complete game should and has to be, hope this wake up the other developers and they start giving us again complete games for us to enjoy and get lost, instead of just barely finish games.

Some of the graphics especially with meshes/textures don't look amazing for sure but it looks like they put that budget into a ton of other things so it will be well worth it. The enemy variety, environments, particles, animations etc look crazy.

@@Walamonga1313 Do you not think it is a bit underwhelming looking graphically? Look at the horse's mane near the beginning and pretty much anything with fur/hair, it really needs some work. Lots of textures look like they were made in 2014. That said, the game is still VISUALLY impressive despite having flawed graphics on a technical level because the animations, particle effects, and art design are amazing.

I didn't watch the trailer, going into these games as blind as possible is the best way. Their trailers always show all the bosses and such which takes away from the exploration and mystery imo. I did however catch very brief glimpses because I had to feed my curiosity and those few seconds I saw looked fucking amazing. Best way to play these games is not knowing anything and discovering all by yourself. A From Software game on release is a special thing I don't want to ruin. That feeling only comes around once every 2-3 years.

Bro, give them a try, i used to hate them, but my Dad gave me Dark Souls 2, after 4 hrs on my first playthrough i got in love with Dark Souls (Even though, Dark Souls 2 was the shittiest based on what fans says, to me is a cool ass game i don't care) i spent 8 hrs playing that game on my PS3 and i couldn't stop playing after that day, i have ALL of the Souls/borne games ❤️ Trust me, they're good ❤️

It's like every souls title since demon souls fused and became one. Bloodborne, Ds2, and demon souls aesthetic, ds1 and ds3 combat animations and sounds , and lastly the sekiro movement and possible mechanics with some of it's own sound. This is what I picked up and 100% missed some details, I can't wait to see how this game plays.
