Some details of Heihachi's gameplay: That sort of power up Heihachi does right after Kazuya's heat smash is a three mark "transformation" he gains. Each mark is gained after activating heat (one per round). Once activated, the power up duration is for the ENTIRE ROUND (not match) and gives Heihachi a lot of powerful stuff including: -stealing white health with each hit he manages to make damage with ( the opponent has reduced health recovery as a result) -his heat bar has longer duration and his attacks consumes less bar. Heihachi also has a blue sparks attack apparently that heals him if lands properly, and his omen thunder god fist doesn't combo anymore, but he now has a Pewgf and some electric attacks which work from stance.

Well, to be fair, Kazuya *was* actually killed by lava. It's that he was resurrected by G Corp a few days later. I love how Tekken got his voice actor from the Tekken Bloodline Series to do the voice in the main series. He’s the perfect balance between Gori’s voice and Ishizuka’s voices. May both of them Rest in Peace. As far as gameplay, Heihachi looks like the best version of himself to date. It’s pretty amazing how the old school bosses that returned from the dead are now the best versions of themselves. M Bison in Street Fighter 6, Rugal in KOF XV, and now Heihachi in Tekken 8.
