Like a Dragon: Ishin being finally brought over to the west after nearly 8 years was such a treat, it being remade from the ground up was a surprise, but I'm definitely not complaining. Max, if you see this, I really hope you give that game a chance and stream it someday; As well as the other titles if they peak your interest.

Admittedly the first few chapters of 0 are very restrictive and story driven. You really don't get into the meat of yakuza until chapter 4 after the side story tutorial and chapter 5. But all anyone needs is their gateway experience. We'll hook him eventually

@@MariusBoss11458 That slim variant will end up having less storage than original model. So you're gonna end up having to buy an extra PlayStation SSD. So the price is almost the same for both. And slim will be less powerful too.

@@del46_60 Say that when you're running on 20 gb left out of the 300 gb usable on that slim model. No game works well without big space left. If you're gonna buy a slim model either prepare to spend money on expensive SSDs or keep running low on memory affecting games. And yes, slim ps4 didn't have an HDR support, and had half the memory. So yeah less functionality.

Not just a translated remake of Like a Dragon Ishin, but we got Yakuza 8 and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name on the way along with the Judgment games on PC. It's a fucking amazing time to be a Yakuza fan right now lol

I really enjoyed this state of play. Quite a few games I am looking out for Tekken 8, Rise of the Ronin, Like a Dragon Ishin, Stellar Blade, God of War were the major highlights...but even smaller stuff like syndivdivuality and Pacific ride seemed interesting

There have been SO many announcements in such a small time frame! There are finally games I want to play in this current generation. Stellar Blade and Tekken 8, especially T8, are definite highlights. Like a Dragon Ishin is a special case. Not is it being remade with the Unreal Engine, but a full on international release after so long! As well as LAD 8 and LAD: The Man Who Erased His Name. I’m so glad I’ve played through the Yakuza series for the first time during Quarantine in 2020. We Yakuza fans are eating well next year.

Tekken has great art style and direction that cover the flaws but technically the models in comparison to some other 3d fighting games are generally low-poly with low-resolution textures. But again that's just one technical aspect, if you don't notice it then they're doing great job.

All I can do is hope that the flow of Tekken battles is like what they showed in that trailer. Like perfect dodges and counters getting those nice closeups and such. That would be ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. God of War continues to just blow my mind apart with the way it can create epic environments and moments. The end moment of that trailer was jaw dropping. Also, best written line ever? " Death can have me, when it EARNS me ". Dayum! Tons of great things from many other studios. Stellar Blade, Ishin, etc. Best SoP I think since the Ps5 launch. Lots of games to get excited about. Great look ahead.

Rise of the Ronin was the highlight for me, like Team Ninja is popping off like crazy! That game is SICK, and it's apparently along the lines of FFXVI where it's been in development slowly over years and seems like a labor of love more than anything, like a culmination of everything they've done and learned. I can't wait for more info on that!

Tekken 8 looks good. Though I want to see Tekken Tag Tournament 1 & 2 get a PS5 remaster and then a Tekken Tag Tournament 3. With Tag 3, I hope it's not like where if 1 character dies, you lose. Stellar Blade looks cool. It's rare to have a Korean developer on consoles too. I think I'll get this. Rise of the Ronin looks good too. 8:14 I agree it is a bit odd how Xbox is going with a Chinese themed game and PlayStation is going with a Japanese game. T8 is not gonna launch until 2024. They would definitely put at least 12 fighters in base roster, and it's gonna take some time. Also, Harada kinda hinted they're gonna give the Smash Ultimate treatment to T8: EVERYBODY IS GONNA BE THERE.

Wulong is not a Xbox thing is that Xbox worked with Team ninja to put that game in Gamepass. They didn't anything for the game beside that. Not like PlayStation is doing with rise of the ronin. The SOP was 8/10 didn't expect so many games to cater to my likes. 😂 That GoWR, That trailer only put GOWR as GOTY already. If that trailer was like that and they were willing to show that many epic stuff! Imagine what more this game has in store for us. The impact the story will have on us will be bigger than Elden ring in my opinion.

I always wondered why Japanese developers didn't release more outside localizations for a lot of their games. Like, dude, you could have made so much more money by releasing those games with subtitles to those who don't mind reading in other countries. Thank god games like Sekiro, Ghost of Tsushima, and Nioh proved that people from other countries will pay cash for Asian themes/stories. Slashing stuff with swords. What's not to like? Now, if they would hurry up and localize The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki...
