Wow wow wow... I'm not sure if anyone else remembers this, but I remember in one of his livestream concerts in Covid times, Gert said that he 'cannot play Reger as it is too difficult for him' ... well now look, you didn't just play it, but you played such a difficult Reger work with absolute style!! Such clear registration choices to bring out the well-known theme and wow what a fugue. This piece is so difficult both musically but also physically; you actually have to be an athlete to play this. Truly exceptional. What a genius Reger was; arguably the greatest writer of fugue after Bach (or perhaps Mendelssohn). Congratulations on this mammoth achievement Gert, this will be a video to come back to!

U heeft gelijk.. maar ik denk dat hij een hoop beter zit achter de klavieren.. dit video is van 2015. Dat is 9 jaren vroeger dan nu… niet altijd perfect, maar een hoop beter…
