I’m not depressed or a downer, but I do love me a good day to myself with a soft steady sad piano. So that I may remember all that has passed before me and I barely blinked. She’s gone now, I didn’t know what was given to me till it was lost. I do regret. But oh do I love the memories she left me. When they tell us to move on that it all happens for a reason then maybe me missing her is for a reason. If I do die alone. It’s been coming on 5 years since her and I still choose to have no one but her, just know. To me our love will keep me going. Your comment made me choke up in tears. I am in fact depressed after a five year relationship that I wouldn't let go of no matter how disappointing it was. Always wishing I would have done things differently or had communicated so and so. But as you mentioned, if they are gone, would it ever have made a point? Was it meant to go this way? Would we have split up only later if we had kept trying? Was it ever even true love? How will I ever know? I guess that, since I don't know the answer, I guess it was never true love. He only reaches out for me when he sees on IG that I am falling for someone new.

Going back to a place of laughter and steady genuine smiles. Back when my image of others was true and real. The getting up in the am as a teen and getting the jobs done both jobs getting the baby to school and seeing the sun shine through the green tree leaves watching the leaves turn colors through the season while walking everywhere grabbing the stick to drag against the fence. Closing my eyes and just feeling the wind in my hair on my face. The general kiss of my mother how I missed her in my teens. Laughter of siblings at the dinner table back when we all gathered for dinner. The how am I going to get through this but I am ok. The new memories taking over of and how I get to make them now. How lovely this is to my heart and soul. The places am traveling in mind and spirit. How sweet yet real. Thank you for this treat.

I'm surprised. This piece has more poignant commentary than most others I've seen. People are sad, nostalgic, grieving. Yet, the music is simply a minute long phrase over and over, at least for the first 50 minutes (after which, I'm not continuing). "She" may remember, but it seems that if one is really so moved, one is not listening.

I do not know what to say the world around me changes and keeps changing but I stay behind and still the same I'm going back to that summer in seventh grade when I fell in love with that girl. she didn't love me back but we remained best friends. I continued to love her and a year ago it came out and together we decided that it was no longer the case to continue that friendship because I couldn't give her the friendship she wanted and she couldn't give me the love I needed We haven't seen each other for a year and I'm not depressed or sad, things had to go like this. But I feel empty and half done as if something big is missing I feel frozen in time, and try as I might to fill that half I can't I'm so tired
