I remember when Max Robinson was the Chicago anchor for ABC News as part of their "World News Tonight" program in the 1970s. That was a really big deal then. He and Ed Bradley of CBS News were the first 2 African American journalists on the national level that came into my consciousness at that time.

He was a class act and stood up for what he believed in.Very regal. He always looked cool as a cucumber on the air.I watched him everyday as a child and later, as teenager in the mid 1980s. I remember him when I was a little girl, in grammar school. I loved listening to ABC world news to look at him. I was in awe of this handsome, black man with this authority, his commanding voice just speaking about the news. It could be about anything. I had to watch. He was the first Black man, front and center, reporting World news. He was in our faces everyday, talking. Just the little part he played, it fueled my love for black men. As a black, little girl all I knew was that this is the kind of man I wanted, not knowing this man had struggles, insecurities as we all do. A lot of times we forget because we are growup, that person is no longer in our faces, were looking ahead of what's happening now. But we have history, ascending history, and he was a great deal apart of that ascension. I will remember that he was apart of my history. I hope he had got his soul right with before he left this earth. Maxie "Max" Robinson, I remember you and you will always be loved.

Excuse me Sir, I just wanted to say thank you. You're not only telling us a story. You draw our attention to the more important things going on around us. I started watching your vids a few days ago & have stopped since. You deserve a once a week spot on tv. One of those reality show slots. Where the highly educated black ppl are acting like donkeys for those yt network ppl to making money off of. Where the highly educated black ppl are acting like animals for money they don't need. You know where the highly educated DOCTORS/doctor wives act all ghetto. Ie; "The (BLACK) Women of medicine" or whatever the name of that show is, 🤷🏾‍♀️. ALL black Women, whom are either doctors or married to doctors. You see EVERYTHING on that show. Except if it has anything to to w/their professional careers AS DOCTORS, smdh. So thank you for your time on these very much needed informative vids. We definitely appreciate you King. #ImAFanNow
