@@filipzajac4104 Yeah. I think it's too much. A boss this fast shouldn't deal 80 stance damage a hit. He's as quick as Malenia but deals poise damage like Maliketh, who attacks like once a year. I know it's just so that the player character doesn't engage with Godfrey in a poise fest slugmatch because the fight flows extremely well when you angle and jump on him a lot, evading his attacks, but for a boss vs boss battle it just makes it boring because the fights become one sided, meaning that the only bosses that can beat him are bosses with tons of stats on their side.

This is exactly how these dlc boss vs base game boss videos should be made for fairness. I've seen other videos that give the bosses the same health, or make the base game boss ng+7, or just be very vague about what they mean by 'equal' scaling. But why not just use the scaling feature exclusive to the dlc and apply it to the base game bosses?? It's only there to encourage players to explore more and it makes dlc bosses way stronger in game than they are in lore. Taking away that unfair advantage makes these videos way more interesting, it's really cool you're doing it like this

From most bayle vs godfrey fights i've seen on yt every most bayle's wins againts godfrey could be contibuted to the one-constant lightning attack he has that fucks godfrey over and if bayle doesn't use that one attack godfrey dominates the fight due to how shit bayle's poise is,(this is ofcourse in equal scaling only!) But hey godfrey did much better than expected like i thought he would lose to midra and messmer and wasn't expecting him to lose to gaius and metyr,except the consort-radahn fight all the fights godfrey lost were close too and he could've won if rng favored him(But most main game bosses start the fight very passively unike the dlc bosses that are aggressive from the start).
