Welcome back to FlounderFest! This week, we're using the PLATINUM PROWLER mod! Created by Atlas, this gives maximum stats to the Pirahna Prowler, the same as the Platinum Runner if you've seen our older videos with that mod (also created by Atlas). Additionally, it has INSIDE drift instead of outside drift! Quite the experience compared to a normal Pirahna Prowler...

@Barak Dosunmu It's fun casually, but there's little to no item strategy. It's just not exciting. I think it suffered from high expectations. Mario Kart Tour, on the other hand, didn't have much hype in the first place. It is what we expected.

@Barak Dosunmu If I'm not mistaken, the items you get are based on distance from 1st. You can also have multiple bullets and shocks in play at once. Your two items can't be swapped like in Double Dash. You can't pick up another item while equipping one. Spinning bananas? All these things basically force you to just use your items when you get them, and make it much more luck-based than previous titles. Ironically, the races still aren't that interesting because 1st place gets to 10 coins pretty easily and can dodge the less frequent and less powerful Spiny Shells with a Super Horn. I got to play it at a friend's house recently and it was fun. Battle Mode is actually great, and the graphics are incredible. Love the music too.

1:17 it’s already outside. It just looks inside because of handling and drift stat

2:15 if it were an outside drift, the vehicle would have some inertia when starting the drift, and it wouldn't go to the left instantly like a bike. handling doesn't affect the duration of the inertia Also outside drifing animation doesn't look like the vehicles go straight when drifting x)

Yeah, the only interest in inside drift is ultra tight turns (and longer wheelie boosts) but with a kart it is just a loss of SMTs on most turns of the game
