Synopsis:
Max and his team are captured by a mysterious villain who claims that Max doesn't seem to grasp the boundless possibilities of his Turbo Energy. Thanks to this villain, Max starts to generate a new green Turbo Energy which he must control in order to stop him. Dr. Prometheus Halifax aka Terrorax, the mysterious and enigmatic founder of the Halifax Industries, turns out to be the man who stole Max's energy and now has his own energy - Terror Energy - created to assist the Nexus legion in conquering the world. In order to stop this villain, Max and his team must learn to control his new energy and use his new Turbofied gear in order to stop the Nexus legion and their nefarious plans.

I would love a continuation, with the old graphs and the old characters, it would be massivelly interesting to see what jim would say about the green energy, berto helping steel upgrade himself to sustain green energy bringing back the turbo modes stronger than ever, maybe even going off planet on adventures like the ones jim had, leaving the team turbo to defend earth, bringing back the old style of adventures, the green energy is not bad the way it is portrayed here, it could just be a middle way for the unimaginable power jim spoke about multiple times

New races, new enemies, new allies, it would accomodate their desire for money while also satisfying the fans that tought that the essence of the series was gone, it would bring back the old duo going on interstellar adventures, maybe even discovering more about jim's planet, the possibilities would be almost endless, but i personally doubt they would do it. Its more likelly they would rather reboot it than make a continuation, like what happened to ben 10

I honestly believe that the Max Steel live action movie is the main reason why the tv series’s quality gotten so bad. My guess is probably due to the movie’s bad reviews, Mattel might have cut the budget on the tv series because the company didn’t make back the money that they put into the live action movie and probably went all out on the remaining budget on season 3. I just want to say that this is just my theory on what could have possibly causes the lack of quality following after the third season and how it ended up the way that they did. I noticed that the old characters were sidelined and the show was basically converted into a showcase of Mattel’s new max steel toy line-up which gave me the feeling that they weren’t going to expand on story anymore and just wanted to squeeze the last drop of what the franchise had left. I don’t usually make long comments but this was one of my favourite shows growing up and to see such disservice to a great show kinda stings but it is what it is and I’m sure that the animators did all that they could but they should have just ended it at season 3 instead of this.

Well that could be it, plus the fact that the franchise was fastly losing its popularity thanks to other superheroes from DC and Marvel I'd say that the quality drop started by the 2015 films (the third season) which was more merchandise driven than the past two seasons. They introduced the combo concept for the series and Max would randomly appear with a new mode for no apparent reason (i.e.: Turbo sonic flight mode) and that's when they started to run out of ideas Tbh I don't hate these films and they are kind of a guilty pleasure for me but .. it's not max steel anymore

As I remember, until this live action Max Steel movie came out it was a mess. The movie switched studios a few times, Taylor Lautner almost played Max... The development of the movie was too messy. And the result is what we saw .A movie that went to the cinema, but that looked more like a movie for TV. Bad script, good actors wasted, average special effects... it was a disaster. The bad thing is that the franchise had a lot of potential. With a little more investment, the movie could have been a success and kept the franchise alive. A Power Rangers movie came out in theaters around the same time. Although it wasn't a masterpiece either (and it didn't have a sequel either) it was a better movie. Which made me feel nostalgic. If Max Steel's movie was at least on the same level as the Power Rangers movie, we could have hoped for better days. But unfortunately it wasn't like that. Watching the movie, the feeling is that a great franchise was wasted. I honestly didn't like the 2000s version. But I love this 2013 version. I'm glad it existed, but not for the way it ended. At some point in this film Steel mentions that his systems indeed control Max's green Turbo Energy, but in really small quantities, so it is likely that Max charges him with the green turbo sometimes to keep him alive. So they're removing turbo modes. That's a shame they were one of my favorite things about the show. Why remove those? And doesn't that kinda makes Steel pointless now? I mean what can he really do now that he can't link with Max.

Not really, Max apparently has a better control over his energy and his new armor does the basic functions that Steel did, such as managing his energy and all.

I like Team Turbo and all but Season 1,2,3 Max Steel has good looks. But season 4,5 facial looks are a bit off. I like the graphics but not really a fan on the face.

Yes, it is supposed to be a movie. Mattel changed the animation studio and the animators were probably under lots of pressure to release the film, hence why it looks almost unfinished.

1. Steel will no longer be linked with Max as the series possibly ended after these films. 2. Max gets new modes in Turbo Warriors. They are completely technological rather than techno-organic as Steels modes and they have a bigger variety of colors rather than black-blue-white. 3. The elementors appear in the next film. Their last appearance too. 4. The Ultralinks will be no longer used in the show and it is going to focus on mutants. In turbo warriors though they show a vault with artifacts of many of Max's, past enemies, and few Ultralinks spheres are shown. 5. N-Tek no longer exists after the events of "Team Turbo" due to Professor Mortum's attacks. 6. Idk, but I think that it is to give the film more of a superhero feeling?

Max's new powers are cool and do let him make gadget and gives him super strength, but in lot's of ways his older powers were a lot better. he used to have let him fly, use lasers, invisibility, and become a titan, etc and there were so much more he could do so why the New powers?! I know OG Max Steel had similar powers but why?

I am on season 5 and I still like the old version of max steel the episodes are better as well in the old version. Also how can they separate max and steel the animation itself is called MAX STEEL I also hate the fact the colour is green and not blue and that it concentrates only on team turbo and has no N teck or Sydney and Max's friends.😡😡😡 There is so much I dislike.
