Thank you Jason. We don't need him. We need a big. This dude has a bromance with Strus. The NBA is full of guys like Strus.

The problem with Strus is his salary. I don’t think he can be moved easily.

@@omieg89the problem is he just sucks. He…sucks.

The Cavs need a back up big that does nothing but rebound but is like 270 plus pounds. Tired of seeing mobley and allen get bullied by bigger players and the cavs no physical answer

@omieg89 naw the need to trade for a euro big. Like Valuncess or Nicola a big you only need to trade a player and a pick for.

I don't get this, so Lloyd is basically saying after losing to the Knicks that we needed shooting, and now he's saying here we don't need Strus who's a shooter?
@jimdefazio864919 сағат бұрын
But he’s not a very good shooter. That’s the problem. He’s a career 36.5% shooter who is shooting 30% from 3 this year and he who shot 35% last year. A “shooter” who isn’t a very effective shooter isn’t an asset, he’s a liability.
@RealTalkTone19 сағат бұрын
@@jimdefazio8649max strus is a great shooter his percentages are lower because majority of his 3s are moving and contested he is one of the only guys on the roster that has consistently hit those kinda 3s for a full season… if he stood still and wide up like Dean Wade does for every 3 he would be shooting 45-50% from 3 but teams actually respect Strus and his shot so they guard him intensely

@ judging this year after only 2 games??? last year he had jb as coach
@dreamshakejake373619 сағат бұрын
That was before we led the league in 3pt %. Now everyone on our roster is shooting a career high from 3. So no, now we don’t need more shooting, we need a backup big and another 6’8 wing if anything.

I feel like the Cavs need to give Tyson and Thor some run with the main rotation. Each of those guys has some length. There might be some untapped potential.

Even if they dont make a trade. I dont see anything wrong with the overlaping skill sets. Like was mentioned they have shooters, playmakers, defenders. All the 2/3 guys are uniquely similar so when 1 sub happens it makes for a similar look with a different twist. Maybe this will be the new path of team building. No one thought that small ball was anygood until the warriors started winning, then boston started this multiple wing movement. Next having mulitpe perimeter players to just overload,/overwhelm opponents is next.

FYI Strus was terrible in the finals with Miami if I recall. They just need to keep their roster and make the ECF. Just continue to show growth because truthfully Donovan is the only one in his prime. Evan, garland, Okoro, and Jerome( health) are all trending and growing as the season continues. Tyson should get more minutes because he definitely has talent but he needs game time minutes with his size, grit, and shot making.

Don’t look at just 3pt%. He takes much more difficult 3pt shots than most other players because he’s a movement shooter. He comes flying off screens and pin downs right before he takes these shots. He has plenty of gravity. Watch how defenses panic closeout when he gets left open
I don’t want guys flying off screens to take low percentage 3s from a guy who has shown over and over that he does not make them consistently. Give me Okoro who is making them at 49% clip this year second best in the NBA. How about we move the ball like we have been all year long and get someone a wide open look rather than jacking up low percentage “tough” 3s?
