Of course it's quicker but the gun can't tie more than 16mm splices so only good for slab mesh stuff but as a Steelfixer I've used it and it's fast but still doesn't save your back

@@jeffreya.greene6999 You are a Unicorn most Rod Busters are in the 11 to 12 ties per minute for the first 20 minutes and then production drops to about half for the next hour. and then half that. The body can only take so much which is not a reflection on the trade but the truth about how hard the profession is on the body. The gun was not meant to replace the skilled guy it was meant to do those crazy mundane snap ties which is usually the guys with less skill. Hands and knees are an occupational hazard along with carpal tunnel for the rodbuster and I know and have heard many stories first hand on how these tools have helped the people in the trade stay healthy.
