The Amalgam guys and girls are amazing modelers, they have some top tech to help them! The RB15 F1 car is 6000 GBP. Shmee 150 had a custom built Mclaren done (of his real car) that cost more than double that price. Amazing piece of work.

Amalgam are made near me in Bristol. I think they normally take some to Goodwood festival of speed. This was great. Amazing store and some quality models there. Love that they have some real racecars 👍

Formula one is some of my favorite racing, Michael Schumacher I think was my favorite racer ever. Although Lewis Hamilton and a bunch of others are great Racers and competitors themselves. Well at the hobby shop here for the bigger highly detailed cars they do go for a lot of money, that F1 car probably goes for about $450. Grates for my friend thank you for finding it.

Dont waste your time with 1:64 scale ,i began with greenlight ,autoworld ,johnny lightning ,switched to 1:43 then 1:18, its like you've wearing glasses all this time .1:18 scale gives you so much appreciation for collecting,i mean whats there to look at at a tiny 1:64,they are cute?Come on ,you want to see engine ,interior ,stearing ,dash ,opening parts, like a real car! Try it, you'll never look back,even 1:43 has very good detail.

Chasing Diecast Cars at first I thiught maybe indycar but i looked up Alain Ferte and he was F3 /F3000 and Formula Renault driver - but being alfa romeo they must be F3. Then I saw I have a model of his 2012 Le Mans Ferrari 458 in my collection. So they're not F1 but very cool

That my friend is what we call an Opel GT in the United States !!! And at one time when the show (“Get-Smart!”), was on TV they actually used three different vehicles the first was a “Sunbeam Tiger” the second was the “Opel GT” and lastly they ended up using a “Volkswagen Carmen Ghia” ! However focusing on the Opel GT there are rumors in the United States that it originally came from Germany and it originally was the first car to have the Wankel rotary engine powering it before Mazda came out with the Wankel rotary engine after buying out Wankel after the fact they change the shape of the car slightly and then started coming out with the Mazda serie RX-1-7 which all versions came with a with the Mazda RX-7 Wankel Rotary engine ! However with Wankel Going completely bankrupt and out of business finding a whole engine replacement for a car that’s gone over 100,000+ miles is 1,000,000 to 1 are your chances of finding it ! So what a lot of these guys are starting to do was take and go to a junkyard and find a certain year Camaro body to body completely off and just take the frame engine transmission and rear end and driveshaft and slip the body on top ! Major difference being that you’ve got a Camaro chassis underneath ! Oh, 1 last Thing very important fact is that your Opel GT at one time was called a mini Corvette !🌊🐺

Something doesnt look right with the 90s 1/8th scale f1 cars. The wheels look too square and slightly too big. Everything else looks good.

My next car maybe the IXO Altaya 1/43 Delahaye 235 Coach, wicked early Delahaye coupe styling. Anyway, how do Amalgam sell them, who the hell buys them at 11½K!...Jeff Bezos? I have a 1/6th scale Indian Scout 1920 bike cost me £80 over 15 years ago (now worth about £200) and I thought _that_ was expensive at the time!😲💨😄

Amendment just for you Mr Dave...the most expensive Amalgam 1/8th scale modeI is actually the 2011 Pagani Huayra at £12,964.00 (14,476 Euros) and a Bugatti Veyron for the same rocket to the moon! They have a quarter size 1/4th F1 Ferrari SF71H 2018 at £19,995.00 yeah baby🧻 it retails at just under £20,000...yes sir you read this right I said 20 Grand, 20 Gs, 20 Big Ones!...for a production scale model...its a BIG scale model but still...its a scale model. I'd want a working engine in it for that.💨😎🔥
