Newey isn‘t even the main designer of the RB18/19 and now 20. He obviously is the highest ranking person in the technical team of RB but he also focuses a lot of his time on the RB17 project. Waché is actually the lead designer for RB. Adrian newey didn't design that much of the actual car and floor. He spent most of his research time on the suspension. In fact he was one of the only people to work on the suspension in Red Bull so that he could prevent porpoising.

Low key he actually sounds a little bit like a nerd? I feel like he doesn't normally give off that vibe but here he sounds like a bit of a nerd in this interview. 25 points coming again tomorrow.

He's nearing his peak-nerdiness level... He's 100% focused on the sport, on getting better, understanding the car better, learning track alterations... he's just been working on getting here and getting better. I suspect that he understands more about these cars than the majority of the engineers/technicians on the grid. Yep, he's full on nerd.

I think he is a nerd. In any way the opposite of Hollywood showbiz. Look at how socially awkward he can be. So funny to look at. I enjoy watching him race, win and being just him.
