That's a good point, dear Debbie. Our Max does seem to prefer Dad Dan down on his level. It makes so much sense. Both of our boys enjoy Dad's pets and cuddles. (I wonder how we look to our pets from their ground level views, to our full, upright sizes.) East Coast Custom Toothpick Factory in full production this morning.😂 I can almost smell the scent of fresh chewed pine. Max, boy, you sure got the attention of Umbrella Snickers this morning. If you listened, you could probably have heard him all the way to Pennsylvania. I'm sure my neighbors for at least 2 blocks heard him loud and clear. He loves it and responds when you're vocal. Your so precious. Dad Dan, speaking of loud and clear, it sounded like Max said either "hi, Dan" or "hi, Dad" @0:46 and "how ya doin'" @0:57. Both just plain as day. Snickers makes that "squeaky toy" sound as well; he has a toy that sounds just like that. He also barks like the little dog across the street.🤬 Max wants to be close to you because he loves and trusts you; you can see it in his face. Bananas and oatmeal - one of Snickers' favorites. Usually, because we share. When he first came to me, he didn't know how to eat and I got him to try things by sitting him in my lap and letting him taste things off my finger (he hates having anything foreign on my fingers, so will try to lick it off). He's been eating on his own for a long time now, but it's still a special bonding time for us when we have oatmeal and banana. 🙏 y'all have a blessed day. ❤️ y'all, and a special hello to the Dusty Kitty.🤗🤗

Each time I learn a little more and more about Snickers, I realize that just like our boys, Max and Dusty, he came from a situation that was absolutely NOT beneficial to the poor dear.💔... Max is chewing on this block, and when it starts to get away from him, he just puts his foot on it, like you or I might. When he was complaining loudly (yet again), about the carrier being out and ready, not all of his words were intelligible, but his intonation and syntax were spot on! He’s so smart! I do so admire your interaction with Max, Dan, and it’s so clear that there’s love between you. Thank you for allowing a window on this world of yours! It’s such a pleasure to see!
