Our Max was so serene as he looked out the window. Rain, so badly needed, often effects individuals that way. I think at 2:38, our boy wanted Dad's petting. I've noticed he does that type of scratching often when Dad's petting him. *I'm so glad that someone who appreciates wildlife and the beauty of nature is living in that beautiful setting... We have turkeys crossing our somewhat busy road often, too. One of my kind neighbors, down the street, put up a sign on his lawn indicating that, since they always cross at the same place. We don't have turkeys in our area, Rhonda, but we do have Canadian geese, who do the same thing .. they have a favorite place where they like to cross the road, thankfully there is not that much traffic and everyone drives slow anyway. My Bob used to do that very same thing that Max does, starting to scratch slowly under his chin when I would start to pet him, I wonder if that is common to most parrots.
