I was 16…left when I was 21. Married the love of my life there and my eldest daughter was born during Martial Law in Isfahan. Being an American married to an Iranian during this time was difficult but I learned so much about this country. He is the hope for the Iranian people. He is not asking for anything in return….just to help. So proud that Iran is still his Vatan. I pray for the success of this revolution. God Bless Reza Pahlavi.

My 84 year old sister from California called me and asked me to write to 'Amini' and tell him to mind the way he sits and the way he speaks with the Shahzadeh who represents the great Pahlavi dynasty and Iran's great dynasties going back over 2500 years. This is a message from a woman who lived through and remembers Iran's golden days that were made possible by the Pahlavi's who built Iran from the ground up. She wants 'Amin' to respect himself by minding his manners and not to forget he is in the presence of a Shahzadeh which represents everything that Iran is all about...regardless of how the Shahzadeh may humble himself. There you are. I conveyed the message.

He is still the best, and most probably the only bet that Iranians have, to lead them through the turmoil of the revolution and lead Iran to democracy. As he himself has said many many times, it will be the Iranian people and ballot box that will determine the democratic future of Iran. Lets hope for a better future for Iranians. They have paid very heavily for that regime change in 1979 and for the ensuing catastrophies that followed. Enough is enough.
