Graz has a famous "amory" called "Zeughaus" with all kinds of original old cutting + slashing weapons but also antique fire weapons in all shapes and plate amours for man and horse..all originals and no replicas..those pieces goes into the thousands and many of those are permantely "on world tour" for various expositions around the globe. Back in the days of round about late 15th and 16th century that was a kind of "central armory" for the whole region for "the avarage men"..nobility had their own armories in their castles.. In general the Styrian knights and their foot soldiers had a reputation for being very ruthless and very fearless in combat which goes even back to the times of the first Crusade around 1000 AD and therefore those were very appreciated by the Holy Roman Emperors of those times by being kinda like "a special knight force" And by the way near Graz is the place Arnold Schwarzenegger was born and raised...his birth house is now a Museum as well.

Wow, fascinating history! We will have to come back one day and see that! Also, Arnold Schwarzenegger's house, that's amazing! 😆

the yellow is called "Schönbrunner Gelb" or "schönbrunner yellow". I think its dating back to the baroque area and the construction of schönbrunn castle. I love that you are not just tiking of all the boxes, you explored everything by yourself and thats far more interesting to watch.

A friend of mine used to work at the Schlossberg slide you guys saw. The people working there don't find it that dangerous but when I went down I was pretty shocked at how fast it was. It's definitely not for everyone

@@MaxandSidney your welcome, 😌😁 does all Austria have pine trees or only in the mountains?

@@meow-lk1re Pine trees can also be found the eastern foothills of the alps, where the climate becomes more dry (as it's more influenced by the continental climate from the east; the main range of the _pinus_ _sylvestris_ - the most common species of pine trees in Europe - is more towards the Baltics in the northeast). E.g. around the Wachau region and the Wienerwald hills (west of Vienna) there are lot's of them, but they do grow up to about 1600m elevation all over the alps as well.
