Life saver dude. I let folks in the house borrow it because I was not using until I replaced my phone. Got new phone but it wouldn't pair for 2 weeks. Was about to give it away because no one in the house would admit they had a device that was still paired to it. And I couldn't figure out what device was preventing me from pairing my new phone. Did a reset, now it works. Thanks!

Worked on my JBL Charge 3 ! It was cutting off every time I was playing music (would connect but disconnect as soon as i would play music). Work perfectly now. Thanks !

I've had connectivity issues with my JBL speaker for a couple weeks now. I'd turn it off and on several times, trying to connect it to my MacBook, but it was always the same issue: It'd make the sound that it successfully connected and the bluetooth preferences would confirm that, but the sound would stay playing from my laptop. I was sad thinking I'd need to replace the speaker after only 6 months of use, but resetting it worked perfectly. Thanks for the clear and concise video Max! :)

You should be able to just disconnect any connected Bluetooth devices.

Hello Max, thanks for your video. Do you know why my JBL flip 4 connects to the Bluetooth correctly but when I press play it doesn't sound? It seems it's correctly connected and the music plays on my phone but the speakers doesn't make a sound :(

Have you got multiple devices conneced to it? If so, that can be a problem. If you're truly hearing sound through your speakers, you may need to change the output in the app you're playing the audio through. For example, on an iPhone in the Music app, there's a triangle icon with sound waves coming out of it below the volume slider on the screen that comes up when you play a song. You can tap that icon, and it will bring up a window that will let you choose to play your audio through the phone or other connected devices. I hope that helps.

Nice informative video and looks like a simple way to reset JBL Flip 4 Bluetooth laudspeaker. Unfortunately, I can't get my speaker to reset. As mentioned in your video, I switch on the spreaker, and press the "+" and "play" button simultaneously - but nothing happens. No matter I long I keep the switches pressed, the LED on the On/Off switch doesn't turn off. Any suggestions what could be the reason? Thanks for your help in advance.

As the power light seems to be blue instead of white, it means the device must be paired or connected to your device before being reset.

I messed with the bass settings you do that by holding the Bluetooth button and up if you want more bass and down if you want less bass I was unsure if I got it back to what it was so this helped
