The “milling machine” is called a router (and you used a flush trim bit). Cutting the ply halfway through is known as “kerf cutting”. Looks mint, keep it up! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Cut the bendy boards, spray with water and vinegar to soften the uncut side so it bends easier.

Looks hella nice!! Big ups for all the hard work guys!! I hope the area doesn't flood multiple feet again! Also steam helps make the wood more malleable to bend! Not sure how big of a steamer you would need but I've seen to many people that work with wood use it for bending!

To bend wood, you need to soak it in water before. Heat can help too but it change the color of wood

I wonder if this cutting job on the top of the ramp makes it fragile. You may have to fix it with a specific glue

Back slicing the wood never works, you have to use many layers of thin plywood like 4 mm or 5mm and you have to bend it across the short with and not the long with

It’s gonna crack in a couple weeks. And I have to correct you. The best parks are not the ones that have machined edges the best are the ones that shut down every year and make changes so that there’s always something fresh for the customers to ride. We’ve been in business for 20 years and that’s what we do every summer. We close down for summertime and make lots of changes and then everybody comes back in the fall and is so happy and they spend more money every year. Don’t do this always die

I was there a little over a month ago. I live kind of far away so I only get there about every other year, but it's always so much fun to see new things every visit. I always tell people it's the world's greatest indoor amusement park for mountain bikers!
