The Kunze Panzer was a very nice tank to play, if you keep switching out of siege mode the moment you fire, you can still maintain some of your dpm. It’s perfectly suited for my play style, and I found myself performing quite well with it. I wouldn’t say for people to avoid it, but newer players will definitely struggle a lot with this.

yeah the kunze is amazing. He didnt take the extra depression into account there are so many spots you can get BS angles on people and hide again, then switch out of siege mode.

Kunze and K-91PT are weirdly the best performing tanks for me. My adhd brain love the siege mechanic of the kunze, and I love the troll camo build in my PT. As an aggresive player, the extra gun depression, dpm, camo, and or the troll gimmick work wonders Even though char is a good tank, the dpm and the moving dispersion (hidden stats) are the deal breaker. Some people couldn't stand missing some of the shots, and having to reload for a long time. Some could make it somehow work. The safest choice for newer players is only the Phase I as it offers good overall everything.

I love my k91 pt, have 2 marked while just pissing around. I have a stacked crew so with bond rammer as well as the experimental ventilation system (forgot the other equipment). I can hide from everything as 56% camo and then it rams super well for some reason so when it comes to fighting light tanks and medium tanks you don't lose any hit points when you ram them. If you haven't tried a similar set up, please try as I love my setup as it allows both aggressive and campy play

Siege mode in the kunze has worked fine for me. If you're at a distance and sniping, its fairly easy to time your entering of siege mode with your reload finishing. Then you just immediately exit after you fire so you can reload faster and then repeat. If you're close enough and don't need the accuracy, of course only use the normal mode.

Char Futur 4 gun is a fricking troll for me. I have never manage to get all 4 shells to hit and do damage even when I was already fully aimed and against a stationary target. At minimum one of those shells gonna decide to swerve to the left or right and hit tracks or eat dirt for no fricking reason.

The Cobra and the Char Futur 4 are my favorite of all the battle pass tanks. The Cobra does make me laugh when I unload and pen a tank with those premium rounds. 1 magazine many tanks in the game. Yeah its broken, but damn if I dont have a crap ton of fun with it.

As someone who was recommended the Char Futur 4 and picked it up I can honestly say that I can't stand it. I absolutely hate autoloaders because I hate feeling completely useless for 40 seconds while I wait for the reload, especially if you/RNG fuck up your shots. My RNG tends to send everything into the dirt/tracks no matter where I am so getting maybe one shot of 400 damage every 40 seconds is just shit, especially when people know you are on reload just turn and rush you in which case you are SOL because it doesn't have good armor by any means unless they hit the upper plate at a bad angle.

In the garage AE Phase 1, Kunze, Char, K-91 PT (favorite! also with standard rounds, close range). I'm used to playing a T54 medium with the big gun (5 degrees) so no problem there. Playing with a F2Play account so I'll spend the tokens on Equipment this time. That Cobra is fun but seems expensive to play. Obj.777 is too slow for me. I prefer the Kunze.

kunze panzer is amazing. started playing this like a month ago, have had it from when it was put into the token store, but... first off: just forget you have the siege mode. i never go into it, maybe, in some slow situation you should, but i have not done that so far. secondly: it is just a light tank with more HP and better gun, than on most lights. to me this tank works very well. but i guess one has to like lights and paper mediums to like it. kunze and char are just cool to play, although char is bit different:)

You can play it several ways, one of those is as light tank you've mentioned, other is a long range maneuverable support (do not mistake it with being triangle). Using siege mode isn't a no no - just time entering it when you're below 2s reload remaining and you have better accuracy, which is useful if you're at higher range and then immediately switch out to normal mode if you need dpm atm. Just don't overfocus on using siege, especially on close ranges - it seems some people can't see mechanic as being optional to use. And imo if you don't lose as much speed as in strv (kunze is still not slow in siege mode), it shouldn't be straight up buff in everything.

@@Eshelion sure, there are many ways. and you are absolutely right, siege mode seems to be mandatory for many, but that is my point, it is not. one could say, me not using it at all, is another extreme, but i do not end up in a position, where i would benefit from it. the reason i play it as a light tank is, that i just like light tank gameplay and there are not many of them in the game, especially new ones. they only add some stupid gimmick lights, but not real pure lights any more. not that the game and maps benefit lights in any way nowadays. but i still like it the most. and kunze works very well in this environment with it's HP and gun compared to other lights.

@@ottrakkaselg8033 Light tank kind of play can be very satisfying. :) I think I like mediums in general the most, because of their versatility - many of them can play both as scout or support or brawler, depending on situation and needs - they are less dependant on map too. You not using siege mode at all is extreme as you said, but there is nothing wrong with it - as long as it works for you. And you need mobility more if you're playing the role of lt - you don't want to get caught with your pants down in bush unable to run away quickly - so sitting in siege mode in most of those cases would do more harm than help. As for light tanks, I think the spotting system is the problem in general - lts with extreme camo and/or vr are better than other mid ones and singlehandedly win or lose the game on more open map which doesn't seem like good design.That being said, corridor type of maps with one or two death zones of no go are bland and boring I miss the chances to flank. I don't know why ruinberg for example doesn't have more paths through a city blocks, like the ones opening after dynamic event... Or more paths between those corridors like they opened one on Oyster Bay recently. But that's another topic already. :)

@@Eshelion to me it seems, that the view range is the problem in many cases apart from the maps in general. 400m view range should be reserved for light tanks only and maybe US mediums. Heavies should not have more, than 380m and that should not be the norm, but extreme high.

Thanks for the video. I already have AE Phase 1, Char Futur 4, Cobra, Obj 777 II, Kunze Panzer and K-91 PT and wasn't sure what to get next. BZ-58-2 seems the logical choice to me but then again I own 50TP which is very similar in stats as well as playstyle. Guess that leaves me with Lorr 50t? Unfortunately I've heard horrible things about that tank.

Most streamers focus on "ooooh you lost dpm in siege mode, this tank is soooo baaaaad" not even thinking about not being forced to use it (it's fine on short - mid range) or switching to it in last 2s of reload and immediatelly switching out to make use of it on longer distances - a bit of a hassle, but it helps in min maxing.

Good round up - personally I have fun with the Kunze and K 91, Char is frustrating in so many ways but still a good deal, Cobra is a must have even though you will rarely play it, TS-60 not to bad, had good games, 777 is bounce city as you said perfectly good soviet vehicle, Phase 1 good but boring. BZ is my next one to get.

The kunze is a sleeper, max doesn't know how to play it i reckon. It's not a bad, weird leopard it's a multi role medium, td, med and light in one SMALL package. It is a very good and fun tank if you play all 3 roles.

Took me awhile to see if I wanted to get the Kpz 3 when I first saw it... but I LUV it!!! I find the siege mode is way better than the Swedes, as you can still move around better. Also, when not in siege mode you can fire better than a Strv, but you do need to be more level, as with the Strv you need to switch to seige mode in order to fire properly 😮 I do 49% in it, and I find it fun to drive... Your mileage may vary. I don't mind the K-91 either.. but I seem to like tanks that people aren't keen on 😮😜

There’s a lot of reasons to avoid the K-91 PT, but slow AP rounds aren’t one of them. You neglected to mention that a shot through the lower (or upper) plate will likely damage the engine. Also, if you get shot in the tracks from the front, not only will your tracks get damaged, but unless your opponent shot very low, the shot will also penetrate the underside of the hull behind it, and cause damage.

Char Future and AE Phase 1 were my first 2 choices. Defo worth getting, especially the fun char future. Got the Obj 777 and had a couple of nice games, just not got round to playing it much, so can’t comment too much on it. The Cobra can be great, but that gun trolls me a lot. Cobra is defo fun when the gun plays nice. First choice, if peeps doesn’t have it, is the Char Future.

Cobra is pure derp and i love it BUT i have to warn its a hate magnet. Allso beware the 45seconds reload. Work around that. Other than that you can melt any tank even heavys if you get the right juicy spots.

Don't know why but for me Char Futur 4 doesn't work most of the time. I do pretty well in other autoloaders like TVP T50/51, BC 25T, Skoda T 27. But for some reason those 4 secs intraclip tanks simply don't work for me, not Char Futur, neither the Astron Rex.

Char is a whole different game than 'normal' auto loaders, you can't simply pull out in front of someone and blast away; best case you get two shots off before your opponent is reloaded unless you find a hapless WZ-114 ;) Play it like a Leopard and you'll be fine, the auto loader does help to finish off two-shot enemies (or three if you're willing to take a hit).

Hello, and thanks for the very informative video. I just came back to WOT after more than 7 years and i have none of those tanks. My question is about the cost. I saw in 2023 Phase I, Object 777 and Futur 4 were listed for 9 tokens, now they cost 12. Does the price go down as we get closer to the end of the year, so wait till the next season to get more, or the price has been adjusted to 12 and that's it?

*Conclusion :* AE Phase I : excellent heavium, must-have. Kunze Panzer : just research the Ru 251, it's better. Obj 777 II : plays like a 50TP, good heavy for flat terrains. K-91-PT : only shoot premium ammo because the standard behave like a mortar. good camo. Char Futur 4 : save some bonds for vert stabs because you're gonna need them. also, the interclip is very long. very accurate when fully aimed. don't rely on its armor but it can sometimes troll bounce. don't expect insane dpm but excellent all-rounder. F2P friendly. TT-130M : slow garbage, underwhelming gun but good turret armor for boring hull-down gameplay but has sh!t depression. BZ-58-2 : good armour, hits very hard. slightly lackluster standard pen. no gimmick mechanics. does its heavy tank job reliably. Lorraine 50t : vert stabs are pretty much a must and the gun is excellent. low hp count and only the turret is armoured. I'd recommend the tech tree equivalent with the 120mm gun instead. TS-60 : unreliable armour in the gold spam meta, high dpm but pretty derpy, so can't be used for sniping. Kpz 3 Pr. 07HK : get to know how its siege mode works and be conscious about its armour profile. very skill dependent. put a turbo on it, trust me. contrary to swedish TD's, it's actually agile enough when in siege mode. it's very fun ONLY if you like the gameplay, definitely not meta. Cobra : everyone knows what that thing is. straight up overpowered if you have deep pockets. great mobility and troll turret armour.

I'm pretty sure I got the Cobra in a box during the last Christmas event. In any case, I'm positive I did not buy it from the store, as it is still laying there - haha! Thank you very much for both this and the bond tank lists. Unlike other CC's, you didn't spend 20 minutes stopping on each tank to say that it sucked and shouldn't be bought, did like the bottom lines, like "avoid if" or "definitely don't buy", but at least you showed that some of either these or those in the bond store are worth using. I honestly don't know where I got the tank proper from! Now, there's a downside, too, doesn't have to do with the Cobra, but with the fact that because I haven't been playing as I used to, and for a long time, I've noticed there's been some new tanks, that people apparently happen to be happy with, and yep, you guessed it right, I also don't have the slightest clue on where to get them. I must warn the viewers that Lorraine 50t is nothing like Lorraine 40t in anything but the similar name. I wasted tokens on it and regrated it because it delayed me from getting Cobra and Kunze pz, that I find much better and more fun to play. Yes Leo PTA is better than Kunze, but AMX tanks are much much better than Lorraine 50T.
