It's a little bit weird using him if you're used to more powerful 2k... heck even Johnny Zaku and Char's one feel like an A tier when you compared to this.

As someone that has played close to 4k matches with this suit, I think I can shed some light on a few things. Burst option: I personally think E burst is the best burst for this suit, with S being a close second and F being a distant third. My reasoning is that you need the defense buff and the ability to half burst out of hits more than the barrage capabilities of S burst. The only reason to really pick F is more for the mobility buff than trying to go monke with the heat hawk. Partner Consideration: You want your partner to be able to take your opponents attention away from you. This leads to some of the more top tier 3ks not being the best teammates (Reborns, FX, Harute, ect). Cracker Grenades: They have a vertical arch instead of a horizontal arch like Ridden's but you can also choose which direction they go and how far they go out i.e. 1AB has a short left arch to them, 9AB has a far right arch. Zaku Assists: I tend to use it more for mobility than offensive purposes. Be wary, though, it does have a relatively long reload time. In short, Matsunaga's Zaku relies on patience more than anything. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this suit to newcomers because it requires a good deal of knowledge of how the game is played overall. Even with more experienced players, I wouldn't recommend it unless they wanted a challenging yet rewarding suit to play. As a bonus, here is my Zaku ranks. Petition to label shin's zaku the most disappointing suit in maxiboost? I mean I know it's just a zaku, but it's shin matsunaga, the white wolf of zeon! You'd expect him to be on par with or better then Ridden and here Ridden makes him look like he's a cadet fresh out of the academy! It's like you have a selection of zaku's to play as, and my first choice was shin's....oh boy....was I just not impressed in the slightest and asked myself even as a newb to this game "how does one....win with this?" And this is the closest thing I got to an answer lol.
