Flick the left analog stick twice in the direction you wanna cancel.

@@zuheiender4494 you're talking about a sidestep no?. Is there anything else relative to canceling like are there certain moves that usually cancel like the r2 or r1 button

@@Sinbad7S certain suits do have special movements mapped to either r2 or down + melee. For instance the most well known one I can think of is wing zero ew's evasive maneuvers with r2 but be careful you can't spam it cause it does have cool down. His down melee is also very nice maneuver for canceling a move and landing faster while escaping aerial danger as long as you have boost meter remaining. But not all suits have those. The most universal method of canceling is the step which everyone can do.

@@Sinbad7S i believe you are talking about cancelling with boosts. If you use DD you can cancel certain things. Requires boost tho

Does it show up in the game addons? Make sure you buy the DLC from the right region. Because he's automatically unlocked without you having to do anything.

i think LR csA tracking is a bit too strong especially in red lock range. hopefully it won't be too strong to the point it power crept most of the roaster. well i guess this would bound to happen if you port something that doesn't meant to be into the game.

It's like saying spacing/zoning/projectile in fighting are bad because they don't let you do the flashy cool combo all the time. It's a competitive mode for a reason. There's casual or CPU if you just want to melee without thinking about consequences

@@96crashban That's literally the answer though, Get Good. This isnt a Melee only game, its neutral is Ranged and you have to learn that. You have to learn when to get in, how get in, and how to punish. It's not the competitive scene that's shit, it's the mindset of thinking you can't succeed with melee because you don't understand HOW to melee.
