Such a good suit that they bumped it from a 2k into a 2.5k and barely changed anything from it and it STILL kicks ass. CC8B (dash melee) is your chaser, don't rely on merely spamming 8b for melee.

Actually I just noticed that the Providence model for the winning post is wrong in lore; Providence's beam saber is emitted from the single large slot at the tip of the shield, not from the smaller ones at the side.

Speaking of Nightingale what do you think if that one? I feel like it's not complete since Direction+L2 ie the spray gun on demand can't target, meaning if you're looking to the side and you use it, it's completely wasted... So it has 1 dud weapon... Am I looking at it all wrong?

it fire at the direction you're facing so you can manually spray on the direction the enemy is going. It's one of the most powerful trap type but definitely not easy to use

This thing is deceptingly strong in melee you can actually win a lot of melee engagements to the surprise of the enemy, but the comparatively lacking armaments does hurt a lot To play this suit well you'd find yourself closing into the enemy very aggressively with melee despite the schizo setup

Back in Rengou vs Zaft 2, Providence 8b had one of the highest priorities and would win trades with every melee in the game except Infinite Justice 8b, is that still true here and why Providence 8b is still something to spam?

The Providence and Rau where awesome in Gundam Seed. Mue should of been the one to kill Rau. Yeah, Mue died earlier (in a badass way) but still, why have Kira (Jesus) Yamato kill Rau when Mue actually has a storyline with him. Just saying, I would of wrote that ending differently. Mue still dies but Rau kills him at the same time as Mue kills Rau. Don’t get me started on that cop out of Neo being Mue. I’m glad he came back but really, amnesia? Just a few more days until release. I made a promise to never pre order another game (after the EA Battlefront fiasco) but I’ve always trusted Gundam Versus. After finding MSG Federation vs Zeon and MSG vs Zeta Gundam in an old video store as a kid, I was hooked 100%.

Because Rau is still connected to Kira. Rau was created by Glen Yamato. Al Da Flaga funded Glen's research to create the Ultimate Coordinator on the condition that Glen would clone him to create his ideal heir because he had no faith in his real son. Then Rau burned down the house their fathers were in, killing them both. While Kira and Rau didn't fight each other as much as Mu, they're still inexorably tied together

Does Legend and Providence have completely different playstyles?

Providence's gameplay revolves around his DRAGOONs and he has a unique beam cage that's effectively a large stun barrier. Legend lacks the beam cage but has slightly more range overall and has an assist to fall back on

Providence is has a good melee kit to make up for lack of assists. Depending on situation you can defend against aggressive melee suits with 2B (down melee) to back hand the opponent with your beam saber or if you need to be offensively aggressive 8B kick unsuspecting opponents into the air for any variety quick down combos. When I have enough boost I will go for 8B cancel route for 3 straight kicks as this how I used the kick in GVS. Again you have to pay attention to your boost because if you don’t have enough meter they can tech then punish you after only kick if you don’t follow up with another attack to down the opponent.
