Maxi Cosi FamilyFix Car Seat Base review

Getting a car seat in the car is a chore at the best of times. Doing it with a crying child, stormy weather, the clock ticking and your phone ringing is a downright nightmare.

In smaller cars kzbin.infoUgkxSRYZLHOTuxMO1hZD5z_fteeFGLKsBP5i it is a little wide and kind of difficult to reach the seat belt buckle in the car where the booster seat kind of covers it. But overall, it's great. The cup holders fold in if you want. My granddaughter loves it and is so excited to have outgrown her car seat. I am constantly reminded that she now has a booster seat, not a car seat. Will probably buy another for a different vehicle.

Could not work out how to get the supporting foot on the family base down from the fixed position and as this video says "instructions-useless." The other, professional fitting instructions dud not cover this aspect, so this video is excellent. Solved it in seconds. Thanks for posting : )

The base can be removed by opening the hooks that attach it to the ISOFIX The seat is removed by pulling a lever so the hooks on the base itself open and you can just pull it out

yeah there is a littlebit of play in the components, mine rtattled as well
