Do not worry about tensioners. Please notice they are symetric as the baby seat can be mounted on both side of car. But only one tensioner works at once - the one next to door. On the other side seat belt goes higher - but according to the manual it's not to high. Proper "locked" position is when tensioner is pulled up. Please watch again how tensioner works on door side. It's tightening thr seat belt by pulling it up.

Follow this guide if you'd love your child to be severely injured in a crash! Guidelines incorrectly followed, should be flat along them not higher until tensioner is pulled, should of been tightened at each stage with body weight applied to seat to create the tightest pull towards the seat of the car, and buckle crunch meaning in the event of a crash the seatbelt casing could shatter rendering it useless.

absolutely not tightened chair. the seatbelt should be pull out and then fed back, so it would be locked. secondly, the seatbelt should be tightened much better, chair should only move an inch or so, when shaken.
