There are no inchs. Just close the side underarm dart and it creates the spread on its own.

Yes it is but you wouldn't need to create the halter neckline I did. Just leave your shoulder as it is and then add your sleeve choice.

On my pattern paper I did not put on fold but while placing on the fabric I put it on fold because it needs to be two pieces for the front and two pieces for the back which makes it a total of 4 pieces overall.
