The original version is often compared to the likes of a Kingdom Hearts boss theme. As I went through this comment section, I saw it being compared to NiGHTS. This DLC actually reminds me of those kinds of DLCS! As with songs and the DLCS of both Sonic Adventure and Nights, they happened to have had a seperate Christmas DLC that was with with new music and aesthetics. In fact, NSR reminds of Nights ALOT even, with the dream-like and alien aesthetics to it all, its amazing. And honestly, I hope that this game will eventually take off and that more people will begin to appreciate the love and passion that goes into indie games such as this. Much love to Metronomik on No Straight Roads, you rock!

I like how the "main theme" aka the prodigy leimotif stayed in the same minor tonality as the original which gives this the "first Christmas without you" vibe. But because Yinu met new friends and has them with her for the holidays the rest of the song has a major tonality. A really fun arrangement

One thing I'm surprised nobody is talking about is how this song is incorporating the impact of Yinu's mom. In the first and second stage, it's traditional with instruments. But starting at the third stage is when the EDM begins, signifying the significance Yinu's mom now has in the field with still some instruments. But on the 4th one? Full EDM.
