Maxilla Mesh modelling using Geomagic Freeform

A patient specific mesh plate has been designed for the reconstruction of maxillary defects using computer assisted surgery. The customized procedure can be used for both small and large size defects. These are virtually designed to convert the entire defected region which is sometimes not possible in case of flap reconstruction. The outcome suggests that complicated maxillary defects can be satisfactorily reconstructed with customized printed titanium meshes using CAS.
