I know you're no longer vegan (obv) but how do you go back to eating meat? no hate at all, just genuinely curious if you know what happens to animals and all that

I ask myself the same question a lot! I guess it has a lot to do with society, norms and habits. The first meat I ate after being vegan for so long was “game meat”, which is shot in the wild (also what we ate at our xmas dinner). I personally didn’t feel an ethical conflict because it’s a wild animal that gets to live it’s life in nature. I somehow started consuming farmed animal meat after that as well. I try to keep it to a minimum but I think there are many factors but mainly suppression of certain emotions that enables most of us to eat meat (since most of us don’t actively want any harm to come to animals).

I was vegan for 5 years then went back to eating fish (seafood) about 2 years ago and now I find myself craving meat every now and again but I just feel so conflicted so I was just wondering your view on this and I again, thank you for sharing xx
