Because that's what my pronunciation research yielded. That's apparently how it's supposed to be pronounced. I usually follow a guy called Julian Miquel for this stuff. He's a linguist and teaches this sort of stuff.

This guy was really out for blood. Quite an interesting character though. It adds to the variety of the Roman emperors or better said Caesars. I guess you will not run out of characters to make biographic videos on for a long time: US Presidents, British Kings, French Kings, German princes, dukes and other monarchs before the unification took place, Indian monarchs, French Presidents, German politicians, Governors of each state off the US, remarkable US Senators and Representatives, remarkable British Members of Parliament, Russian czars, some Russian aristocrats, Russian politicians, remarkable painters, actors, directors, producers, musicians, writers, Chinese emperors and kings, Japanese emperors, generals from all the countries, journalists, explorers, archaeologists and many others.
