Many traditional scientific workflows are run with on-premise infrastructure and are not optimized to take full advantage of cloud computing resources. Furthermore, traditional workflows may not fit within the Earth Engine compute model. This session will demonstrate how to package a traditional workflow, bring it to Google Cloud Platform, and interoperate with Earth Engine where appropriate. This session is of interest to users that have processes that rely on Earth observation data and run in other environments and languages (e.g. Fortran, C) and want to leverage Earth Engine’s large data catalog. #GeospatialInsights #CloudTech #EarthEngine #Sustainability #MappingTheFuture
