Ive got a mini but just ordered a MKII. I use Logic Pro and DaVinci quite often, but not enough to remember all the keyboard shortcuts. Having the Streamdeck means i can program the key strokes to the buttons so i don’t have to remember them.

Streamdeck has native scene switching in OBS. To test this, use StreamDeck Mobile, add 2 obs scene buttons and assign them to the scene you want. Stream Deck Mobile will be your best friend here when trying to set this up. You will get 6 free buttons to test/use.

I have a Focusrite 4i4 and the stream deck is sending sound out to - speakers (focusrite USB Audio) [default]. I can see the meters jump in OBS for the stream deck audio that I setup, but if I X out of the stream deck app and it minimizes to the system tray, the soundboard plays, but doesn't play through OBS. I don't know if this is meant to be this way or not?

I haven’t experienced much with the soundboard, so I can’t really help you here. Hope you do find a solution/workaround here soon!

I have watch 3 or 4 videos on streamdecks. None seem to explain "why". in a way I would use it. Psst... I edit video all the time.

Not sure if there is any difference between the 15 & 32 Key stream decks but Davinci Resolve doesn't work with it. No matter what action/key I bind. There's no function.

you are wrong about getting the mobile for free.. Thats ONLY if you have an iphone or ipad.. and there are many people, that dont use Apple... You dont even mention that, you just say, that you can use your old device.. yeah again, if you have an apple.
