Top info, although I would suggest the talk test is key as the ability to pace a run 'as fast as you can' is dependent on mindset. Btw microphone is either dying or low battery, sound is very clipped.

While generally one would aim to increase their lactate threshold for improved performance, is it common for athletes to actually lower their lactate threshold HR but with a faster threshold pace (through improved efficiency, running economy, and overall fitness with all external factors being equal)?
